Hello Everyone
The Guild 50/50 Club raises funds for the Bell Restoration Fund, whilst giving you the chance to win cash prizes. The year starts on 1st May for 2024-25. There is a draw of numbers for each month of the year with three prizes to be won each month, plus the chance to win a bonus prize at the end of the Club year in April. A donation of £678 was made to the BRF in April 2024.
Last year we had 113 membership numbers and the monthly prizes were £25, £15 and £12 with a bonus prize of £54 in April. The cost of one number for one year is £12.
A huge THANK YOU to the majority of members who already pay by standing order! You don’t need to do anything, your membership will continue as long as the order is in place.
If you paid last year by BACS, cheque or cash now is the time to renew your membership. I will email a reminder to you if you forget.
The wonderful support from you all keeps the Bell Restoration Fund topped up ready to support bell installations and restorations around the Guild. We are always happy to have NEW MEMBERS of the 50/50 Club so why not give it a go? The first Draw of the year will be during July for the months May, June and July, so you still have plenty of time to join in. The details of how to join are below.
You could:
1. Set up a standing order to pay annually. Details below.
2. Pay online for this year (2023-24). Details below.
3. Post a cheque or cash to me. Address below
4. Put cash in an envelope through my door. Address below
Whatever you decide PLEASE LET ME KNOW so I can update my records. Please make sure your name is with whatever method you decide, otherwise I will not be able to pay your prize if you win.
Best wishes
Anne
