The Farmers Market at Orton is held on the second Saturday of every month – what better excuse to go to Orton! Ring the bells and then wander around the market stalls; visit the handmade chocolate shop and finish with cream scones in the Church.
This is exactly why various Eastern Branch Guild members gathered at Orton in early December for the Christmas market. And what a joyful, festive event it was. Amongst them was Eliza Steadman (pictured in the pink sweatshirt) from St Michael’s, Brough, who successfully achieved LtR level 1 Bell Handling in October. Well done Eliza!
